Ep. 17 Growing With Your Passion - A Conversation with My Friend Alyse Friedman

Welcome back to Seek The Joy Podcast, and happy #SeekTheJoy Tuesday

On the podcast today is one of my oldest friends - Alyse Friedman. We've known each other for about 7 years now, and we met while at USC, well more specifically while at our first new member meeting at Alpha Chi Omega.

Alyse has been working in the entertainment industry for as long as I can remember. This is really her passion, and she loves working within the industry. Right now, she's working as an executive assistant and she's been navigating this assistance life - for the last four years or so since we've graduated.

On today's episode, we chat all about what this journey has been like for her, what she's learned about herself along the way, the importance of remaining patient with yourself, finding your footing, remaining grounded, how she finds joy, and making sure you find balance for yourself - no matter what industry you're in.

A big takeaway for me from this conversation is just how important it is to stay ahead of the trends - and to make sure that you're still learning. It's really all about learning. Learning as you grow, learning so that you can grow, and finding the possibilities in such a big industry. The trends in the industry are constantly changing, and for Alyse it's important to stay up on the trends, especially in this mega digital age.

Alyse also shares how over the last four years she's become more comfortable and confident in her skin, especially in the work place. She's learned a lot about herself, and gained valuable perspective on her life and career.

Alyse's love and passion for TV and entertainment really comes through in today's episode. She shares why TV and the entertainment industry has captivated her since such a young age, and she even  shares some of her favorite shows (hint: Shondaland)

We also talk about the importance of good, solid, friendships and relationships that you can fall back on. No matter what, you know that they're there for you. A solid support system is a key for her in finding balance.

I really loved having this conversation with Alyse. It's always so much fun for me to have these conversations with my friends who are following their passions and putting themselves out there.

I know that her career will continue to grow, and she'll continue to grow, and I'm so excited to see what she does next!

I hope you enjoy today's conversation with Alyse.

She's one of the most down to earth and grounded people that I know, and she's been an incredible friend to me over the last 7 years.

I'm so grateful that she came on the podcast to share her experience and her story on today's episode.
