Natural beauty, incredible phenomenon, expressions of love, ingenious creativity, and inspiring wonders abound on our blue and green planet. As we open our eyes, hearts, and minds to wonderment; happiness, health, creativity, and new ideas begin to flourish.

I’m so excited for you guys to connect with Wendy and Megan, check out their work with Sea Tree Wonder, and follow along as they continue to share their vision for sharing joy and wonder, and have fun finding, celebrating & respecting "wonderments" in our daily lives.

I'd love it if you'd introduce yourself, what you do, and what you're working on.

We are Wendy (Sequoia Win’Ni) and Megan Bloom, and we are filmmakers, happiness vloggers, artists, dancers, writers, and educators. As “life adventure buddies”, our truest relationship is best described as “best friend sisters”, though we did come into this world as mother and daughter. We are truly best friends and equals in our roles and partnerships with each other in business, creations and adventures.

Together we co-founded Sea Tree Wonder to find, experience, and share inspiring and uplifting weekly short films, blog articles, and creative content with the world. We are creating high quality productions and creative weekly film episodes, while building an online community of people sharing wonder, joy and reasons for gratitude with each other.

We are also co-founders and creators of Rainbow Orca Designs, where the two of us  collaborate with each other and create one-of-a-kind nature and wildlife inspired sculptural art and paintings. We create unique, joyful & beautiful art and donate 10% of the net profits from the sales of our art to conservation, animal rescue and humanitarian organizations.

How did you get started?

We have always had a supportive and collaborative friendship. Over the years, and throughout the hardships of life, our friendship deepened and became that of “best friend sisters”. We have supported and been there for each other through hardships, losses, life changing experiences, victories, and everyday life experiences. Throughout our lives, we have chosen to collaborate and work together in business, travel together, and live together now as roommates.

While we are both very positive and naturally happy people, over the years, life’s challenges and hardships started to wear us down. We found ourselves “too tired” to be happy. Financial hardship, stress, and exhaustion was testing our sense of joy and gratitude in life. We realized that we were missing out on all the happiness and wonder that can be experienced when we open our minds and hearts to the beauty, love, and incredible happenings that fill our beautiful blue and green world.

We began realizing that by intentionally finding and appreciating daily wonders, we were happier, more inspired, and felt more appreciative. Thankful people are happy people. And isn’t that what we all want to be? Happy?

For many years our daily lives were seemingly filled with overwhelming challenges, yet we both had dreams of pursuing and developing our filmmaking and writing skills. Finally, we said, “Enough is enough. Let’s co-found Sea Tree Wonder and be a creative and inspiring force for wonder, joy, and gratitude through the creation and sharing of films, articles, dance, and art.” We look back on this moment as one of the most life changing and amazing moments of our lives.

What inspired the work that you're doing?

We know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, stressed, and exhausted people. We now realize that even amidst busy and stressful days, opportunities to feel joy, wonder, and appreciation exist if we open our eyes, minds, and hearts to seeing the beauty. By embracing the simple everyday joys, wonders, and reasons for gratitude, we cultivate our abilities to create daily happiness regardless of schedule, finances, and daily hardships.

It has been life changing for us to find, experience, and share these “wonderments” with the world through creating quality weekly short films. We are inspired to share this gift of appreciating daily wonders with others through videos, articles, photos, and art. By being intentional seekers and sharers of joy, wonder and gratitude, we feel happier and we are inspiring others to be happier too. More people sharing happiness with each other, the happier world we can all help to create.

What is your biggest passion? Do you feel like you're living your passion and purpose?

While each day is still filled with many challenges and hardships to solve, being an intentional force for wonder and joy fulfills a life purpose.

Every morning as we wake up and begin our days, we allow ourselves to feel the joy and excitement for that which has not yet happened, appreciation for everything that is working out well for us, and happiness that we have created an empowering concept and gift to share with the world.

It is our passion to build an online community of people sharing joy, wonder, and reasons for gratitude with each other. Sea Tree Wonder is founded on these ideas, and it is our passion to live these concepts daily and inspire others to be empowered creators of happiness, kindness, and love.

What is your joy blueprint? What lights you up, brings you joy, and makes you feel the most alive?

Our joy blueprints are always growing and developing as we empower ourselves to create and live our daily lives with purpose, self-love, respect for all, creativity, happiness, and appreciation. Holding ourselves accountable to the founding pillars of Sea Tree Wonder, inspires and empowers us to create daily happiness for ourselves, no matter the circumstances.

By keeping perspective about what life is all about, we allow ourselves to be happy because joy is the gift of a meaningful life.

How do you live intentionally? Are there tools/resources/practices that you rely on to help you stay mindful and grounded?

By living intentionally, we give ourselves the mission of finding and sharing daily joy, wonder, and reasons for gratitude with the world through our films, articles, interactions with others, and our art.

These activities significantly help us to stay mindful, grounded, and inspired;

~ Spending time in nature renews our souls and inspires us to be our most authentic and appreciative selves. We love visiting the ocean, hiking through the woods, watching wildlife, and taking our dogs on walks through parks.

~ Dance is a part of nearly everyday life. It is very grounding and enlivening to exercise through the creative expression of dance in response to the rhythm and melodies of music. Dance is a major part of our lives, as artists, teachers, and happy people.

~ Creating unique and original art, from a variety of art materials, uplifts and empowers our ever flowing creative energy into meaningful creations.

~ Preparing and eating organic, natural, colorful, and whole food meals fills us with the nourishment and energy we need to assist us through long and busy days. The time we spend eating good food is our time to slow down and appreciate our food.

What would your younger self think about what you're doing now?

Megan: My younger self would be completely thrilled with what I am doing now. As a kid, I always wanted to be a super hero that inspired people to reach for their dreams and give people the power to be happy. I knew that if I had these super powers the world would be a happier place, and I would be happy too. When I was a kid, I was not sure how I would be a super hero. My younger self would look at me now, and say, “You are a super hero. Keep it up!”

Wendy: My younger self would be surprised with how the twists and turns of life led me in different directions than expected, and yet delighted and inspired with my life’s manifestations. My younger self would say, “Wow! If I cease the moment, celebrate daily joy, cherish meaningful friendships, and pursue my dreams, than things will always work out, even if I don’t know how.”

Do you have a go-to mantra or affirmation?

We both have had mantras and affirmations assist and inspire us throughout the years. Sometimes, they are specifically phrased quotes. Often they are simple words with meaningful significance.

Right now a few inspiring words and phrases for us both are the following;

 ~ Appreciate Wonderments

~ Have Faith

~ Trust That Everything Works Out

~ Breathe

~ Share Gratitude

~ Be Brave

~ Be True to Self

~ Enjoy the Journey

What is your biggest dream?

Our biggest collaborative dream is to have the financial freedom and resources to pour our time, creativity and energy into inspiring and empowering people everywhere to appreciate wonders and create daily happiness. By creating and sharing our inspiring films, blog articles, and art with the world, we pursue our passions and live our dreams.

We have a mission to build a large online community of people finding and sharing joys, wonders and reasons for gratitude with each other. We will travel North America, and perhaps the world, inspiring and empowering others to celebrate joy, wonder and reasons for appreciation. Our biggest dream is for all the world’s people to be able to live joyful and fulfilled lives, while appreciating and respecting the beauty and gifts of our incredible planet Earth.
