Mckenzie Tate Earley is organizing the Global Women and Girls’ Heart Dance. Women and girls worldwide are coming together for the inaugural Global Women and Girls’ Heart Dance event to create helpful shifts in the way we treat ourselves, each other, and the Earth.  Through intention, song, and dance, women and girls will (1) offer gratitude to the Earth for providing resources that benefit life, (2) affirm the availability of abundance, and (3) radiate love and compassion for all hearts to receive.

The expectation for this event is to mobilize women and girls to occupy the open outdoors, parks, homes, stadiums, arenas, theaters, and community/recreation centers in unified reverberating intention, song, and dance for the benefit of us all.

Women and girls will perform the same song and dance on the summer solstice, June 20, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. in their local time zone.  Mobilizing at the same time in respective time zones strengthens the impact of intention and establishes a continuous current throughout the day.  Participants are encouraged to initiate free-form song and dance and all other activities that sustain intention at 11:15 a.m. and onward.

I’m so excited for you to connect with Mckenzie, check out Global Women and Girls’ Heart Dance, and follow along as she continues to create a blanket of healing energy around the Earth that will facilitate the opening of hearts, and promote conscious relationships with ourselves, each other, and the Earth.

I'd love it if you'd introduce yourself, what you do, and what you're working on.

I am Mckenzie Tate Earley.  I’m organizing a global women and girls’ empowerment event that provides a platform for women and girls to offer their healing intention to the world in solidarity through song and dance.

The expectation for this event is to mobilize women and girls to occupy the open outdoors, homes, and community/recreation centers in unified reverberating intention, song, and dance for the benefit of us all.

The song’s lyrics and the dance’s choreography are simple to facilitate ease of global participation and to allow for focus and clarity of intention. Participants are encouraged to initiate free-form song and dance and all other activities that sustain intention at 11:15 a.m. and onward.

The impact of this initiative is dependent on women and girls educating their communities on its significance and organizing participation.  Each one of us is essential in bringing it to life.  Awareness, inclusion, collaboration, and creativity are necessary to facilitate worldwide engagement.  Participants will naturally customize the event to fit their local culture and preferred format, while maintaining the integrity of the global intention and the accompanying song and dance.

It’s my hope and expectation that the Global Women and Girls’ Heart Dance will resonate with all women and girls so that we may unite like we never have before to offer some seriously beautiful healing to this world of ours.  We are witnessing a rise of female empowerment and environmental movements around the world that are challenging the predominance of masculine qualities seen in leadership.  The feminine nature is nurturing, loving, and creative.  The same tenderness that women offer to our own children, we will offer to the Earth and its children on the summer solstice 2020.  It’s time for women to fully assume our power and share our gifts in solidarity so that all may profit.

How did you get started?

During a meditation, an image came to me of every woman and girl worldwide performing the same song and dance in unison with the intention of uplifting humanity and our relationship with the Earth.  I could feel the healing power of women and girls uniting to reverberate this one intention through their affirmative words and movement.  I knew that I needed to organize the event in 2020 and invite global participation and collaboration.

What inspired the work that you're doing?

The world could benefit from more love and compassion.  Uniquely attuned to life, women and girls are paving the way via the heart dance event for us to become a compassionate global community that is connected with natural systems.

The event adds a distinct dimension of heart complimentary to the efforts of existing female empowerment and environmental movements and organizations.  Current activism at the forefront of public awareness is creating shifts through infrastructure and policy reform.  This is of great value, as is the heart dance event.  Through the heart dance, women and girls will create a blanket of healing energy around the Earth that will facilitate the opening of hearts and promote conscious relationships with ourselves, each other, and the Earth.

What is your biggest passion? Do you feel like you're living your passion and purpose?

My passion for sharing wellbeing is at the heart of all that I do.  Collaborating with women and girls from diverse cultures and backgrounds in the pursuit of contributing to helpful global shifts feels natural and good.

What is your joy blueprint? What lights you up, brings you joy, and makes you feel the most alive?

I feel the most vibrant when I am fully present, grounded, and heart-centered.  Dance and movement in general help me to achieve or sustain this state of being.  I’ve found that conscious movement cleanses what doesn’t serve us and firms us in what is to our benefit.  Through dance, we can shake off our baggage and open ourselves up.

How do you live intentionally? Are there tools/resources/practices that you rely on to help you stay mindful and grounded?

Being present with conscious breath allows me to be at ease.  Intuition and inspired intention flow through ease.  I arrive at this place by creating space for balanced activity throughout the day.  Some of my favorite activities that help me feel my best are spending time in nature, stating gratitude and positive affirmations aloud and often, meditation, dance and movement, painting, informing my perspective from outside sources, and connecting with people.

What would your younger self think about what you're doing now?

She would be overjoyed with the heart dance’s purpose and would definitely want to participate!

Do you have a go-to mantra or affirmation?

I like to do a grounding meditation, in which I affirm my connection with the natural world, go inward and feel, and then radiate my love outward.

What is your biggest dream?

It will be powerful to realize the vision of the heart dance in partnership with women and girls from around the world.  The event is by all women and girls, for everyone.
