Verna Fisher is the imagination and heart of Integrative Wisdom. This practice is her response to the call of her Soul and the voice that said to create a healing space for women. She has been guided and led to this vision by Divine Wisdom and she invites you to partake of the expertise and support offered.

Professionally, Verna has a BA in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work. She’s a Life Coach trained by Mike Jay and B-Coach University, a Reiki Master, and a minister for the Universal Life Church Monastery, an online spiritual community.

While completing her MSW, Verna was led to the vast arena of what was then called Alternative Medicine. She knew, from some deep intuitive place, how important this area of study was for the well being of people, and she knew we must learn to integrate the body, the mind, and the spirit if we are to be whole. Integrative Wisdom is based on knowledge gathered from her education, training, and experience, as well as the latest insights she has gained since working in the field of death and dying, grief and loss.

Through her work, Verna offers her wisdom as a woman who has walked the life path from fragmentation to wholeness, from fear to joy and who has been called to give back to other women as a companion, a guide and a healer of hearts and souls.

I’m so excited for you to connect with Verna, check out her work, and follow along as she continues to help, guide, and encourage you through every step of your journey to greater wellness and well-being.

I'd love it if you'd introduce yourself, what you do, and what you're working on.

Hey, Verna Fisher, MSW here…And I’ve created a system of healing that I call the Soul Catalyst 4 in 1 System of Healing…body mind spirit in service to the soul.  Currently I am working to get the word out about the Soul Catalyst Cards and Guidebook that showcase the 52 practices in the system.  I genuinely believe this system is designed in such a way that every person could benefit!  We also have a small retreat center but COVID has shifted our ability to host gatherings at this time.  I do what I call “soul coaching” by phone.

How did you get started?

Started about 20 years ago, after completing my Master’s in Social Work and my thesis on alternative medicine.  I had started studying energy work, specifically Reiki, and I believed this type of healing would benefit people everywhere.

What inspired the work that you're doing?

I was unsure back then how it all would play out, but I had so many dreams and intuitive guides leading me that I just kept trying to follow.  Although I had no clue, I knew I had to make changes anyway.  I quit my 22 year postal job, started a coaching practice and a workshop called Spirituality and Healing in the 21st Century. (My inspiration was my deep connection to the Divine)  Then I got the message to sell my home.  Ended up in Escondido and established The Center of Creative Transformation, offering retreats to small groups of women.

What is your biggest passion? Do you feel like you're living your passion and purpose?

Biggest passion…besides family, it’s my connection to soul and the belief we can live more closely connected to our best self if we create a practice of healing.  My 12 years in hospice also inspired me to do what I could do to help people live soul fully so when they die, they have sung their song of joy!

What is your joy blueprint? What lights you up, brings you joy, and makes you feel the most alive?

JOY…a favorite state to be in…the deep, calm, gentle wind that sticks around, even when things are tough.  Being alive, in spite of the rough patches…family, the little ones that bring the best and most joy ever.  Being in nature brings joy as well.  And we have created our Garden of Quiet and Peace which is a lot of work but so so joyful!

How do you live intentionally? Are there tools/resources/practices that you rely on to help you stay mindful and grounded?

My business, Integrative Wisdom, is dedicated to the idea of creating your best practice by learning more about what moves and shakes YOU specifically by offering 13 body, 13 mind, 13 spirit, and 13 soul practices in the form of the Soul Catalyst card deck. This is the best intention for me to have, listening to the deep place of my soul.  My coaching revolves around guiding one to live one’s best life…fully, deeply, more completely.

What would your younger self think about what you're doing now?

My younger self would be saying…”Finally!”  I knew you had it in you.  Glad you didn’t let your fears ruin your whole life.  Glad you finally stepped up to the plate.  You hit a home run missy.

Do you have a go-to mantra or affirmation?

Go to mantra:  Breathe, just breathe. And from Carrie Newcomer…”You can do this hard thing.”

What is your biggest dream?

Biggest dream is that hundreds, if not thousands, of companies have bought the Soul Catalyst Cards for every single employee and that people are recognizing the gift of having a healing practice in place, designed with their personality and motivations in mind.
