Rosy Mack - Your Astrology BFF
Rosy Mack
Rosy Mack is your Astrology BFF, and she rusn an online astrology business that takes an approach very different from other astrologers out there.
She’s a Sagittarius, which means she has big energy, she’s not afraid to drop truth bombs, and she loves adventure. Her Pisces Moon straddling the 12th and 1st houses gives her a strong intuition and deep connection to the psychic realm, but also a unique ability to bring that deep understanding to light and use it to connect to others. She has a Capricorn stellium in the 12th house, which means a big theme of her life is digging into her own inner truth and using what she learns to lead others to their own personal discoveries.
Through her work, Rosy leads people, just like you, who are ready to invest in their personal growth, to discover what is holding them back and how to break through that to move forward. Just like any good BFF, Rosy won’t let you hide from your true potential. She’s dedicated to showing you your beautiful strengths and to hearing your struggles, insecurities, and fears. You deserve to be heard. REALLY heard!
I’m so excited for you to connect with Rosy, check out her work, and follow along as she continues to lead and help people who are ready to invest in their personal growth and level-up their life and know themselves deeper.
I'd love it if you'd introduce yourself, what you do, and what you're working on.
Hello! I’m Rosy Mack. I like to call myself “Your Astrology BFF”. I run an online astrology business that takes an approach very different from other astrologers out there. It’s like astrology (and now human design, too!) PLUS coaching all in one reading. I recently released my first course teaching people how to harness their intuition and use it for motivation and guidance and I’m currently working on my second course where I will teach you how to locate your “Life Arc” signs and understand what your biggest lessons are in life, your greatest potential, and teach you the skills to really overcome your weaknesses and reach your best self. I’m super excited about it and it’s coming together so quickly.
How did you get started?
Like 10 years ago a friend told me, “You’re such a Sagittarius.” And I was like “uhhhh wtf does that mean?!” Because I knew NOTHING about astrology. I didn’t even know my sign. I’ve always loved personality tests and personal development work though, so as soon as I looked into astrology, I was hooked.
What inspired the work that you're doing?
Like a lot of people out there, I think horoscopes are stupid most of the time and after really diving in to my own personal astrology, I learned that there’s SO much more to our charts than what is said in a horoscope. I’m really passionate about helping people understand their astrology and use it to MOVE FORWARD in their lives. An astrology reading isn’t very valuable, in my eyes, unless it inspires you to move forward toward your biggest dreams. So, that’s what inspired my astrology business… knowing I have the power to help people and knowing astrology is just a tool to get there. Too often, astrology is viewed as a “woo-woo” magical thing, but it’s really not. It’s an observable, trackable science that has been used for centuries to help people understand themselves and their place in the world. To me, astrology goes hand in hand with religion, with Myers-Briggs, with psychology, etc. It’s all connected. Astrology is a tool to help us see ourselves at our core without judgment, and I love being able to show people their hidden strengths.
What is your biggest passion? Do you feel like you're living your passion and purpose?
Before taking on my astro-biz full time, I worked as a creative therapist, a modern dancer/choreographer, and mindfulness coach. I am super, super passionate about leadership and community. It’s so exciting to me when I can take someone by the hand and lead them to their Truth. We all have our Truth inside of us, but it often takes some serious introspection to listen to it. I am so passionate about helping people listen. I did this as a creative therapist, as a mindfulness coach, as an artist, and now as an astrologer. I think what I love most about my astrology life is that I combine all of my passions into one space. (Before COVID) I was leading mindful movement workshops for my astrology work where students could understand their charts and then use the mind-body connection to really work on opening their energetic channels to heal the blockages in their charts. I’m a huge believer in movement = medicine. Everything is just energy. Wow, I’m a total hippie now. LOL
What is your joy blueprint? What lights you up, brings you joy, and makes you feel the most alive?
Choosing myself first. This has been a big lesson for me to learn because I care A LOT about what other people think, and I doubt myself a lot. If someone else comes to me with an idea, I often assume their idea is 100% perfect and my idea is awful and then I shift away from my own Joy…. But more recently I’ve been focusing hard on choosing myself first, and it’s bringing me so much joy. I know that by listening to ME, I can truly connect to my own needs and also see where my energy is sitting. I know that by “choosing me” I am able to actually serve MORE people because I’m taking care of myself. Choosing Me looks like bubble baths, dancing, writing, cooking, honoring my emotions, and cuddling with my puppy whenever I want.
How do you live intentionally? Are there tools/resources/practices that you rely on to help you stay mindful and grounded?
In Astrology, there’s something called your Elemental Design. It’s the way the four earth elements (Fire, Air, Earth, Water) show up in your chart. We all have a different combination of elements in our 9 planets, but the key to staying grounded is to understand your elements and then keep them balanced. For example, you don’t want too much air in your chart because it can make you indecisive and hold anxiety around concrete ideas. But on the other hand, if you have too much water, you’re overly emotional and can’t focus on the logic of a situation. Life is about seeing your chart and then using everyday activities to find balance. For me, I don’t have much Air in my chart, so I struggle with letting things go. I attach myself to outcomes. It’s become a daily practice for me to build my air element through activities that require me to let go. Things like improvisation, doodling, going for a walk with no end destination, exploring. I’ve committed myself to doing something like this every day to keep me grounded.
What would your younger self think about what you're doing now?
My younger self probably wouldn’t believe where I am today. For being only 29 years old, I have had a lot of really great jobs. I worked as a psychology researcher for a year or two after college, I was a professional modern dancer for 10 years (Still am once theaters open again!), I developed a program for schools teaching mindfulness and creative art therapies to kids with special needs… and then expanding that program to help kids with behavior problems in detention. I’m very proud of what I’ve accomplished, but at the same time, I feel like most things happened randomly. I didn’t study for years to become an astrologer…. I just started learning and practicing and found out I was good at it. It took me four years of my friends and family telling me I should start a business before I actually started an astrology business. I thought I would quit dancing after high school, but I took one class in college and it led to a gig, which led to me joining a company, which led to joining other companies and being a full-time modern dancer. Life is wild and I don’t think you can ever predict what will happen with 100% accuracy.
Do you have a go-to mantra or affirmation?
“Worry about yourself.” I truly believe that all change starts within. If I’m feeling upset about someone else’s actions, I remind myself, “Worry about yourself.” It is a way for me to tune in with where my head is at and say, “Okay, but what insecurities is that person bringing up in me? Where do I need to heal?” It’s a big vibe check.
What is your biggest dream?
My big dream is to build my astrology business and my creative arts business big enough to where I am training other people to do what I do. I want to be able to share my skills with more people and develop even more freedom in what I do so I can truly live in my adventurous, free-spirited Sagittarius energy every single day. Freedom with my time, freedom financially, freedom energetically. I’m working on building an empire that will support my dreams of having a cute little house with babies and my husband and our dog.
