Michelle Turner is the owner of Movement Lesson LLC, Movement Integration Specialist & Educator. At Movement Lesson™, they focus on each and every child’s unique abilities of processing movement and momentum by addressing their lack of rotation, balance or counter-balance. They aim to enhance and stimulate every movement that your child presents. Any diagnosis or trauma that a child or person has experienced can benefit from Movement Lesson™. It’s a therapeutic approach to optimize an individual’s movements. This movement application initiates, stimulates and enhances functional developmental and movement patterns. The gentle application activates the function in the musculoskeletal and fascial systems to create synchronized ease of execution in gravitational mobility, resulting in a greater capacity for increasingly complex movements and cognitive reorganization.

I'd love it if you'd introduce yourself, what you do, and what you're working on.
Hello, I’m Michelle Turner, creator of Movement Lesson™. I teach the steps needed for assessing and creating movement milestones in children and adults, which helps individuals develop a personal program with online instructional videos, one-on-one applications and further movement trainings.
How did you get started?
I produced a son with special needs and my life changed in an instant. My second child Graham was 13 months old when he regressed to a 3month old in milestones. I was told he would never walk again. After years of frustration, 20 surgeries, special schools and not getting the help in the medical field, I became his therapist with special training.
What inspired the work that you're doing?
I didn’t feel my son should fall through the medical cracks, or labeled special or that one in a million. I now operate a clinic in Phoenix, Arizona and I travel all over the world teaching parents and professionals how to help their children and others with acute to chronic pain/disorders.
What is your biggest passion? Do you feel like you're living your passion and purpose?
Absolutely! I get to help children learn to breath correctly, have better eye function, improve their cognitive skills and help them with mobility by walking or even speech improvement. I am so fortunate to have such great clients and friends all over the world I can help.
What is your joy blueprint? What lights you up, brings you joy, and makes you feel the most alive?
I do work with some very medically complex children and adults. I’ve truly learned that if you think you are having a bad day – I have some phone numbers for you. Each breath is a gift. Use it. Grab it. Share it. The only thing that brings true happiness is when you are able to share what you make.
How do you live intentionally? Are there tools/resources/practices that you rely on to help you stay mindful and grounded?
You can buy a lot of things. You can’t buy time. Our most precious resource. Don’t let life pass you by. If you think of something or someone, do it or make it happen in 24hrs. Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today. Most of all, say ‘I love you’, ‘I’m proud of you’, or ‘I miss you’. If you like to hear it – I am sure there are many others who would appreciate hearing it.
What would your younger self think about what you're doing now?
My younger self would be in shock. I worried sooo much. The best gift of age is confidence. I no longer worry about my hair, look or should I do this? What if? If I have an idea, I don’t need approval. I own the business…therefore I have a great boss.
Do you have a go-to mantra or affirmation?
With rotation, any movement is possible. That might sound corny but did you know that the common movement that is missing in anyone with special needs whether it be birth trauma, autism or Alzheimer’s are rotational movements?
What is your biggest dream?
Winning the Nobel Prize. I’ve presented at Oxford and Harvard Universities. I’m halfway there.
