I'd love it if you'd introduce yourself, what you do, and what you're working on.

I am Dinara, I am a certified health coach and throughout my practice I educate and empower women to take charge of their hormonal health. Specifically, I help women balance their hormones naturally by teaching them how to nurture and move their bodies in sync with their feminine biology using integrative and holistic approaches combined with evidence-based research.

How did you get started?

My story began 10 years ago when I was in my early 20’s. One day I woke up with an excruciating pain in my abdominal area, I rang an ambulance because I was in so much pain, I thought my appendix ruptured and I needed immediate medical attention.

Upon arrival, I was inspected and told me there was nothing to worry about, I did not have a medical emergency, and this was “just” my period cramps, I was assured what I was experiencing was not all that unusual and essentially is just “part of being a woman”. I lived with that belief for many years.

Until one day a friend asked me a simple question of “how is your period?” to which I replied something along the lines of “I am not a fan due to cramps, bloating and moodiness”.
My friend then suggested that I look into it further because the pain I was experiencing is not actually “normal” but rather a sign that something is going on in my body and I need to urgently pay attention to it. I began my research and discovered that the pain I was experiencing is in fact my body’s way of communicating that something was off. I began healing myself, I discovered cycle syncing which is a method of syncing your nutrition, movement and lifestyle with fluctuating hormones of your cycle. By implementing simple changes, my cramps went away, I feel more energetic and aligned with my body than I’ve ever felt before.

Fast forward to today, I teach and help other women to overcome symptoms of hormonal imbalances so they can not only have pain-free periods but also have more focus, energy and less stress in their life by living in a way that optimizes and honours their female biology.

What Inspired the work you’re doing?

Having experienced health struggles myself, I have also witnessed my friends and family living with the belief that women’s periods are meant to be painful, and this is just something we live with. I am passionate about changing that narrative through normalizing conversations about our bodies, educating and inspiring action that benefits the female body and mind.

What is your biggest passion? Do you feel like you're living your passion and purpose?

My passion is to help women thrive in life and work and I certainly believe I am living it.

What is your joy blueprint? What lights you up, brings you joy, and makes you feel the most alive?

Many times when I teach women about their bodies I am asked “Why have I not been taught this at school?” or “This is a game changer, why have not heard about this before”. These “aha” moments are what lights me up to do the work that I do. I want every girl to know her body and how to take care of it in a way that makes her thrive!

How do you live intentionally? Are there tools/resources/practices that you rely on to help you stay mindful and grounded?

Upon the start of the pandemic, I was realizing I needed a mechanism to help me cope with the changing world and current events and that is when I’ve picked up the love for meditation which has been my mindfulness tool and resource ever since. My favorite app is an Insight Timer, it has thousands of meditations of any length and theme - I highly recommend it!

What would your younger self think about what you're doing now?

Younger Dinara would really benefit from the information that I know now :) I know she would think this work is fascinating and would certainly be proud of her older self.

Do you have a go-to mantra or affirmation?

“I have everything I need!”

What is your biggest dream?

Apart from health and wellness, travel has always had a special place in my heart. I enjoy travelling to the different corners of the world, connecting with different cultures, people, discovering cuisines, learning how others live, their struggles and what inspires them. Travel fuels my creativity. So the biggest dream is to work and live with “no borders” from all corners of the world.
