Daniel has always been an entrepreneur at heart, starting at the young age of 13 as an eBay Powerseller. He’s run multiple companies including a thriving digital marketing agency. Daniel now focuses his time on his micro private equity investment company JavaBlue.

I’m so excited for you to connect with Daniel, check out his work, and follow along as he continues to create a digital footprint for e-commerce businesses, and mentor new and seasoned entrepreneurs on how to create successful online businesses, teaching them the acquisition process, the importance of giving back to your employees and communities, and pursuing your passion.

I'd love it if you'd introduce yourself, what you do, and what you're working on.

My name is Daniel Javor, I’m an online and offline investor. I run an 8-figure portfolio of online businesses and right now my main focus is on scaling my investments.

I have a team that looks for certain metrics in online businesses and if a business ticks all the right boxes, I acquire and run them in my portfolio. We usually focus on content, e-commerce, and software as a service (SaaS) businesses.

How did you get started?

Previously I ran a Facebook marketing agency which I built from the ground up and then exited successfully. After that, I was more interested in making my capital work for me instead of being restricted by my time.

My main goal was (and still is) focusing on passive income generation. So that’s why I started getting into online acquisitions. I invest and then optimize my new business’s monetization strategies to increase my passive income.

What Inspired the work you’re doing?

I think it started from my agency days. While I was successful, I pushed myself too hard and ended up burning out. So, I took some time to recover and reflect on what I really wanted from my life. And the answer was what you see today.

Above all, I love business and I love the process of analyzing deals and delving into all the ways that people make money. Engaging with sellers is also fascinating for me, I enjoy learning how their minds work and how they built their businesses.

What is your biggest passion? Do you feel like you're living your passion and purpose?

For me, it’s very exciting when I first acquire a business because my goal is always to fix it up and take it to the next level. So, I actually do feel like I’m living out my passion.

My biggest passion is building and creating and that’s what I focus on daily. I’m analyzing deals as well as talking to sellers about how they turned their ideas into reality and of course, growing my own businesses.

While I do find purpose in the work I do, I still feel like there’s another step in my journey that I haven’t realized yet. But that is the point of life, to find what those passions and pursue them. That is why it is important to learn to enjoy the journey. Rather than enjoying those smaller moments, we can enjoy (and of course, occasionally struggle) through life!

What is your joy blueprint? What lights you up, brings you joy, and makes you feel the most alive?

I would say it’s having an idea and bringing it into reality. The process of going from a simple idea and having it work and become successful is what brings me joy.

As we go through life, our accomplishments are what brings us joy, satisfactions, and a sense of pride. It is important that we find the things that we want to accomplish in our lives and make a plan to complete them. Those accomplishments will help build confidence, success, and of course joy. By not having goals, we will never accomplish them and gain the experiences we need to grow!

How do you live intentionally? Are there tools/resources/practices that you rely on to help you stay mindful and grounded?

For me, it’s my daily habits of meditation, exercise, healthy eating, and being in nature. I think that, in order to function at your best and stay connected to yourself, you need to respect your body and stay healthy.

What would your younger self think about what you're doing now?

I think my younger self would think I rock, to be honest. If I showed my younger self my achievements and the life I’m living, I think he would be proud.

I’ve achieved all my childhood dreams and beyond and I’m grateful for having done it at a young age. But now I’m at a stage where I’m thinking about what my later self should be doing.

Do you have a go-to mantra or affirmation?

I’m not sure if this counts but I always remind myself that “The more I fail, the more success I will find.” This motivates me to keep trying new ideas regardless of what has happened in the past.

And it reminds me that failure and mistakes are normal. To get something 100 percent right the first time is like winning the lottery!

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to have a positive impact on the world and make a real change with my ideas.
