The Power of Storytelling - Episode 4

Welcome back to The Power of Storytelling!

I'm so excited to share this month's episode with all of you. Laurel and Amy, thank you for sharing your stories, your truth, and your vulnerability with all of us. These stories are inspiring, raw, and vulnerable, and I highly recommend having a box of tissues handy while you're listening (good tears though, I promise!)

This month's episode reminded me that life is truly a journey, and we often have no idea where it'll lead us. We can plan and try to control it, but the truth is we can't. We often don't know how strong we are until we're forced to be. We often don't know how much we can handle until we have no choice but to carry the entire load (and then some). But, despite the challenges and the ups and downs, we have the power, and the choice, to decide how we want to handle these moments.

Every story that's been shared in this series so far has been one of poise and grace, and this week's episode is no exception.

When I started this podcast, my intention was to create a space to share, connect, and grow. I've been blown away by the countless women and men who are willing to do that too. I really believe that sharing and connecting takes courage - and a strong willingness to step into our vulnerability and authenticity. It's about fostering a deeper understanding of who we are - but in order to do that, we have to share our story and our truth, the way we choose to share it.

But it isn't easy - the fear of vulnerability, can get in our way.

THE TRUTH IS, OUR VULNERABILITY IS OUR GREATEST ASSET.

Vulnerability is courage.

Vulnerability is strength.

Vulnerability is power.

Vulnerability is how we're going to continue to grow our voice, and build this community.

The three stories featured in today's episode are honest, raw, vulnerable, brave and courageous.

I'm so honored to share their stories.

Laurel and Amy - thank you for trusting me and sharing your stories with the Seek The Joy community.
