Have you ever had an experience where you meet someone and you feel this instant soul connection? It's almost as if you speak the same language . . . you just get each other. That was exactly how I felt the minute I got on the phone with Amber.

Amber is so wonderful and a true inspiration, and today's episode is such a vulnerable and open conversation, with so many insanely good mic drop moments - you guys are going to want to have a piece of paper and pen handy while you listen to this one!

Amber is a transformational branding strategist and business performance coach, writer and speaker, and host of The Amber Lilyestrom Show podcast.

Amber helps entrepreneurs turn their passions in to heart-centered brands and thriving businesses. Her mission is to empower women to position themselves as sought-after experts and thought leaders through social media, engagement marketing, and the creation of an online brand presence. She's worked with thousands of women, building a multiple six-figure business from home while being present for her daughter every day and recently retiring her husband from his police career.

On today's episode we chat all about Amber's near death experience that woke her up and changed her life, overcoming trauma to say yes to yourself, why giving yourself permission to live the life you want is such a game changer, showing ourselves more grace and compassion, finding community, shifting into worthiness, grounding into trust, and so much more.

I'm a firm believer that we can take our greatest challenges and spin them for good and be of service to others - and Amber has done exactly that. In 2013 Amber, while pregnant with her daughter, had an emergency c-section. At one point Amber couldn't breathe. That moment awakened within her this realization that she had been living a version of her life that belonged to someone else. That near-death experience enlivened a fiery focus and determination in her, and eight months later she left her 10-year steady career to launch her own business. (!!!) In many ways that experience was her invitation to wake up. Saying yes to herself has had so many incredible residual effects - and you'll hear Amber share all of those during today's conversation.

Amber works with her clients to design a life, career, and an ever-present state of being that feels like home no matter where your feet land (umm sign me up!) Amber has navigated the waters of solopreneurship to catapult in to a world of soul sisterhood, abundance, and expansion beyond her wildest dreams. By saying yes to herself, Amber has had the honor of helping hundreds of women do the same and totally transform their lives.

She works with clients to do the deep inner work, and it's all because she's done that work for herself. Today, Amber knows she's not defined by her job title or her name on a door. She's not the shame she's felt as a result of the trauma she experienced from being sexually assaulted as a young girl. Instead, she's shifted into worthiness, learned to stand in her own strength, and developed her intuition. I left this conversation feeling so incredibly inspired.

We really cover SO much in today's episode, and it was so much fun to connect with Amber. While we were recording there was a 5.3 earthquake here in Los Angeles (major mother nature face palm) - and you'll hear me tell Amber about it in today's episode. Mother nature wasn't going to get in the way of this amazing conversation!

Self-love wasn't something Amber grew up learning about. The truth is (and I've shared this before), it's not something that I grew up with either. It's something I've had to learn, and just like Amber it's a vocabulary I've had to develop for myself. I'm so grateful Amber shared her experience with self-love and that we had the opportunity to explore this during today's conversation.

For Amber, shifting into worthiness has meant realizing that there's nothing we need to do to achieve that worthiness. We already are loved and worthy, and all of this has clicked for Amber as she's watched her daughter grow up and love and honor herself.

Amber is also the host of The Amber Lilyestrom Show podcast where she takes her audience behind the scenes into the every day lives of successful entrepreneurs and business owners.
