I'd love it if you'd introduce yourself, what you do, and what you're working on.

Hello, I am Sherri Lee! I am a business coach/consultant and life strategist working in the luxury space. When I am not working, I am a mother to my wonderful children and wife to my husband.

How did you get started?

When I graduated from high school I did not have the money to attend university right away. In those days, for people to be seen as successful they needed a degree (or so I thought). Anyway, I did what I had been brought up to do. I worked hard and started my own business in a male dominated field. I was always having to prove myself by working harder and smarter than the guy next to me. I learned grit and grace all at the same time. This experience enabled me to grow two businesses well past the seven-figure mark at a young age. I was able to view things from a place of privilege of which I earned every moment of it.

What inspired the work that you're doing?

The work I am doing is very different from the businesses I grew initially. You see this time isn’t about the monetary gain, rather the ability to impact the world one client at a time. I looked around me and saw so many people living a life of complacency or comfort. These people rest their foundations based in fear. I could see such potential and could not understand why he or she was not leaving that job they hated. I spoke with people that always wanted to write a book or start a blog but didn’t.

The best yet is watching someone choose to be a band aid for someone else’s wounds and not embracing the relationships he or she wants. There is nothing sadder than seeing someone’s inner genius but they cannot see it for themselves. It is obvious he or she will live a life unaware or have a future full of regrets. I want to change this mindset and teach people to design their dream, apply the strategy, and use DRIVE to get it done. I have done this many times and I am the best in the world at it.

What is your biggest passion? Do you feel like you're living your passion and purpose?

I think it is very important to define passion. I was never the person that could solely focus on one thing, instead I became good at many things but not an expert at any. I have crazy energy that lights me up about different things.  Sometimes it’s going for a run and hearing myself breathe, making me feel alive and connected to mother nature. Other times it’s watching my children struggle with a task and then finally get it. There is nothing that lights me on fire more than seeing my children healthy, creative and living a joyous life!

The biggest passion project in business that excites me is working with a client who has a vision for him or herself and helping them bring it to fruition. I love taking that vision and enhancing to by tremendous amounts that it changes my client’s life. It doesn’t matter if the dream is to build a school in Africa, build a lake house, or own a farm. My gift is to be able to take a vision and help my client accomplish it and so much more.

By creating opportunities in the luxury space, it allows for such a greater impact on the world. For example, if I coach my client to create a $2000 product and sell it in the mainstream market it is going to take a lot of product before he or she can raise enough funds to really start making the impact he or she envisioned.  However, if I teach my client to create a product that starts at $100,000 then that is when things get really fun. You see I am passionate about doing everything in life at an elevated level. It takes the same effort to create a mainstream product as it does to create a luxury product. The luxury market is much more fun and it creates the ability to create legacy work and lasting impact. At that level life’s outlook can change drastically.

What is your joy blueprint? What lights you up, brings you joy, and makes you feel the most alive?

I am at the point in my life that I only do things that bring me joy. I quit worrying about others and started to concentrate on what type of life I wanted a long time ago. I own a small farm with my two children and two dogs. I love to garden and feel the dirt in my fingers, it brings a sense of accomplishment teaching my children to grow their own food. I also love running and hearing myself breathe (everyone has their thing, haha!). As I age it is the small things that bring me the greatest joy. Drinking a cup of coffee, reading a book, and watching the sun rise makes me happy. However, my greatest joy are my children and the fact I am so blessed to be called their mom!

How do you live intentionally? Are there tools/resources/practices that you rely on to help you stay mindful and grounded?

I live intentionally every day. I developed this at a young age. I like to wake early and enjoy the stillness of the morning. I can think during this time and it sets the tone for the rest of my day. Connecting with nature on a daily basis keeps me mindful and grateful. I am always so amazed at the beauty of the outdoors and how it has the ability to put me in a better state of mind. I run, walk, ski or swim every day. As any parent will tell you, my children are probably the best at keeping me grounded. They tell things the way they see it and their brutal honesty keeps things real for me. I always take time to pray and appreciate my blessings daily. I do this by stealing a few quiet moments for myself (yes you need and DESERVE those moments). In conclusion, I think defining your purpose and knowing which direction the day will take you goes a long way in living with intention. I usually take some time the night before so I know what it is I want to accomplish for myself the next day. This small daily consistency is the foundation of taking something I dream about to done!

What would your younger self think about what you're doing now?

My younger self was so determined to get a university degree, I felt that by having a degree it made me someone. I eventually went to university full-time and graduated with two degrees. Even though I accomplished what I thought was my goal, after building two business I realized being an entrepreneur was her true calling. However, the experiences I underwent as a younger person have allowed me the to become the visionary that I am today. I needed to go through I did before I could see my gifts and how I should be using those gifts to transform peoples’ lives. I think once my younger self understood my need to create a greater impact she would embrace my endeavors and ask me why I did not strategize sooner.

Do you have a go-to mantra or affirmation?

I read mantras and affirmations but if they don’t come from me I forget them (kind of like vitamins). I tend to be sporadic and inconsistent. In those moments when I am feeling low I always tell myself someone is in a far worse position. I let things run through my head that are positive and collaborate with the plan I designed for myself. If I catch myself thinking or worrying about something I cannot change, then I stop. I constantly speak strong words to myself to keep me in the direction I am meant to go.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to build a movement that my children can witness. I do this by only working with the one percent of people who want to progress to another level in their lives. They want an enhanced vision to build their dream around. This work is very personal and differs for every person and that is why I only take so many clients into my schedule. It is not about group, or mainstream programs. Instead, it is about really getting to know my client and understanding what he or she really wants with their life. Their trials, difficulties, transitions, or whatever it may be, and providing the necessary roadmap to achieve it. The movement is all about the impact I can have with people finding their inner geniuses and building a vision so large it cannot help but impact the world in a positive way. I do this one client at a time, building the dream and using drive as the vehicle for success. With each of these wins, a community is built consisting of bright and bold visionaries that are not afraid to build their dreams and use DRIVE to push themselves through their failures in order to create a legacy and a community of meaningful dreamers. These people are awakened and live their lives with purpose. These people have no regrets. That, is my biggest dream!
