Hayley Yarish - Registered Clinical Counselor and Certified Life Coach
Hayley Yarish
Hayley Yarish is a a Master Practitioner of Clinical Counseling (MPCC), Registered Professional Counselor (RPC), and a Certified Life Coach. She has a deep passion for this work, and she found it through her own personal journey of healing from deep loss, and navigating letting go.
As a result of her own journey, Hayley found herself soul searching, re-connecting to her purpose, and coming back full circle to where she always knew she would be - serving and connecting with others, building therapeutic relationships, and sharing this sacred space. From a young age Hayley had a strong desire to help people, and she’s always had an innate ability to go deep with others. Through her work she takes a gentle approach to both counseling and coaching that is holistic in nature. She focuses on honoring the mind, body, and spirit through a collaborative and client-centered approach that is geared toward deep healing, personal responsibility, transformation and meaning-making processing.
Hayley fell in love with self-help, self-care, self-development and the power of holistic healing, and she’s used that love to create a life and career full of meaning, passion, and joy. She truly believes that you are the expert on your own life, and she approaches her sessions in a non-judgmental and therapeutic manner. It’s her intention to create a safe and sacred space for reflection, self-discovery, healing and transformation. There is so much power in going within, and the process of self-discovery, transformation, and healing yourself truly allows you to create deeper connections with others, and play a strong role in our healing too. I’m so excited for you to learn more about Hayley, connect, and follow along!
I'd love it if you'd introduce yourself, what you do, and what you're working on.
Hey! I’m Hayley. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor, and Certified Life Coach. I have a private practice focused on guiding beautiful souls to heal from the inside out. I focus on a collaborative and client-centred approach that is geared toward deep healing, personal responsibility, transformation, and meaning-making processing. I believe that each of us are the true experts on our own lives and I approach sessions in a non-judgemental and therapeutic manner. It is my intention to create a safe and sacred space for reflection, self-discovery, deep healing, and radical transformation.
How did you get started?
I always knew that my purpose on this earth was to help, heal, and connect deeply with people. Early on, even before I graduated high school, I knew I wanted to go into psychology and have my own private practice one day. My journey took some twists and turns of its own, but I never strayed far away from the helping profession. I have spent years working with at-risk children and youth both locally and internationally. I also have worked with a variety of individuals, children, parents, and families in a variety of settings who have each, in their own way contributed to the deep passion and love I have for this work. I have come full circle back to where I always knew I was meant to be – serving people through private practice.
What inspired the work that you're doing?
The work I am doing now is driven and fueled by my dreams, my intuition, my clients (past, current, and future), and all of the beautiful souls who have touch my life. My personal experiences and journey throughout life thus far has been a source of fuel that has ignited the fire within to pursue what is important to me no matter what, and to do the things that light me up from the inside out.
What is your biggest passion? Do you feel like you're living your passion and purpose?
Absolutely! This work is deeply fulfilling and truly a gift. It is a privilege to witness the release of self-destructive tendencies, the navigation through trauma and old wounds, the power and resilience of the human spirit, and the choice to live more fully and aligned with the deepest parts of who we each are. I want more for us all than to just alleviate pain and suffering. Seeking joy, fulfillment, and the search for meaning in life are shared human experiences that we are each capable of connecting to. This is more than a profession to me, it is truly my hearts work and it is an honor to get to do what I do every single day.
What is your joy blueprint? What lights you up, brings you joy, and makes you feel the most alive?
Oh, so so many things! My work, my loved ones, travelling, adventure, the unknown, connection, love, healing, truth, and nature to name a few.
How do you live intentionally? Are there tools/resources/practices that you rely on to help you stay mindful and grounded?
Over the years this has shifted for me and I’m sure will continue to shift as I continue to evolve. Remaining dedicated and committed to my own personal work and inner journey has been a saving grace, a source of my inspiration, as well as the catalyst for my greatest and deepest healing. Spending time in nature is very healing and grounding for me as well. It is where I find deep meaning, feel fully alive, and at peace with all that is. I also enjoy practicing yoga, reading, writing, and am working on developing a meditation practice.
What would your younger self think about what you're doing now?
My younger self would probably have a sassy “I told you so” attitude for what I am doing now. So often we get wrapped up in what we think we “should be” doing, or what other people think is best for us, but the truth is – you know, you have always known. Just like I know, and have always known this is what I am meant to do. Those answers exist within you, sometimes they get away from us – clouded by the world around us, and sometimes it just takes a little uncovering in order to reach the unfolding of it all.
Do you have a go-to mantra or affirmation?
Lean in.
What is your biggest dream?
I’ve always been a dreamer. Ever since I was a little girl my dad always encouraged me to “dream big” and I truly feel like many of my big dreams are unfolding now and/or have become my reality. Additionally, I dream about writing books, and making self-development and mental health services/supports more accessible.
