I'd love it if you'd introduce yourself, what you do, and what you're working on.
My name is Hanna, I am an Energy Healer and Family Constellation Therapist. I work with women all over the world to help them heal deeply and live beautiful and all-around successful lives.
I am originally from Germany and the United States, but I live in London, UK.
Currently, I am in the process of launching my book “Unlimited: How to Overcome Your Past And Live a Life Beyond Your Wildest Dreams” and I can’t wait to share it with people.
I’ve always wanted to write books and I am so happy that my first one is being released!
How did you get started?
I “fell” into my business while I was still in University studying International Fashion Management. I was on my way to graduating with a Bachelors degree and I was expecting to work in fashion.
While I was a student, I got very curious about the brain and read psychology books and research on the side. All my life, I had been struggling with PTSD, an anxiety disorder and crippling depression and after many years of therapy, I wanted to see if I could figure out what was wrong with me.
From there, I started to feel better and people started coming up to me asking if I could help them. I was very reluctant at first but my friends convinced me to start teaching yoga at the park. I agreed to that and before I knew it, more and more people joined and I started to open up to the idea that helping people could actually be a career.
At the time, I still didn’t think that I would be a healer and therapist one day. I had seen so many therapists who couldn’t help me that I had lost hope. I wanted to help people but I wanted to do it in a way that actually got results.
When I started my business, I wasn’t sure if that was even possibe, especially for people like me, who have experienced a lot of trauma. Even though I didn’t know if I had what it took and wasn’t sure if I could figure out a way to predictably help people feel better and get their lives on track - I started on the path of becoming a healer.
What inspired the work that you're doing?
What opened the door to my work in the first place were my own struggles with my mental health and life overall. For most of my life, I was quite a mess and didn’t see a way out.
This inspired me to want to figure out a way to fix my life and heal at such a deep level, that I could be genuinely happy and teach others how to experience that too.
Today - my greatest inspiration are my clients. They are the ones I learn from and who influence my methodology the most. I love reading research, studies and learning about the brain, nervous system, traumas etc. But at the end of the day, I use the tools that work best for my clients.
I also happen to work with really wonderful people, my clients are ambitious, sweet, driven… I feel honored that I get to be their guide and healer.
What is your biggest passion? Do you feel like you're living your passion and purpose?
I have so many passions! I think my biggest passion is to experience life fully and help others do the same. To have my clients experience how beautiful their lives can be.
And yes - I do feel that I am living my passion and purpose. It took quite some time to get here and there were so many obstacles I needed to overcome. But now that I am doing exactly what I am meant to be doing, it’s really so much fun!
What is your joy blueprint? What lights you up, brings you joy, and makes you feel the most alive?
I am generally a very joyful person. It’s a feeling that just bubbles up inside me. I love having fun and telling jokes!
When I lived in Amsterdam for two years, I performed as a stand-up comedian and storyteller and I loved it. I also love playing tennis, writing stories and books, traveling to Paris which is only 2.5 hours away from where I live by train…
I find a lot of joy in the day-to-day!
How do you live intentionally? Are there tools/resources/practices that you rely on to help you stay mindful and grounded?
My main tools are Energy Healings, which is what I teach and facilitate in my business. It’s like an inner shower you can take that clears out any negativity from your day and leaves you feeling light, bright and grounded. It feels so good! I have yet to find a yoga class or spa appointment that makes me feel this amazing. If you want to try it - I have an Energy Healing Mini Course on my website that you can enroll in for free: www.hannabier.com/energy-healing-course
What would your younger self think about what you're doing now?
I am not sure if she’d really believe that it’s possible to be this happy. Or that I am capable of running a business like this. I think she’d be impressed and also surprised at what I turned out to be capable of! She’s also probably be very proud and excited.
Do you have a go-to mantra or affirmation?
Hmmmm… They always change depending on what I am working on at the moment. I think a core mantra of mine is to remind myself “My life is fun and easy”
What is your biggest dream?
To live in a beautiful house made of glass overlooking the ocean. I love my home in the city and before meeting my love, I had plans to spend half my time in London and the other half in Maui, Hawaii. But when I met him, I didn’t want to be away for so long, so now the plan has changed to owning a house that looks like a villains lair on a cliff overlooking the ocean.
This idea keeps coming back to me and I am excited to build it!
