Dana Lord Lewis is a maverick thought-leader in the realm of energetics. As a leading authority on energy and manifestation, Dana’s mission is to help her students to achieve the truest desires of their souls, through her unique framework to understand and change energy patterns.

Energy Think offers a new framework for personal growth and achievement based on understanding energetics.

You will learn how the relationship between human consciousness (your thoughts) and manifestation-of-desires (getting what you want) is governed by the same energetic principles as our physical world. Where your energy goes is where life grows. Learn how to direct it better.

I’m so excited for you to connect with Dana, check out her work, and follow along as she continues to show others how to apply the principles of energy to discover your power to create anything.

I'd love it if you'd introduce yourself, what you do, and what you're working on.

My pleasure! My name is Dana Lord Lewis, Founder of Energy Think. I am a teacher (and avid student) of universal truths, enlightenment and energetic awareness. I teach my students to align their desires, their choices and their surroundings with the highest version of themselves, based on the highest vision of themselves.

Right now, I am working on reinventing the Energy Think brand by developing our membership club known as the Cadre. The Cadre will launch shortly and will contain a portal through which our members can access the specific guidance they are seeking as well as expand their self-awareness through a like-minded network of evolved and passionate individuals.

We are also working on an exciting and innovative fashion initiative. The goal of this initiative is to help individuals feel confidence, and discover truths about themselves and the universe through their everyday lives!

How did you get started?

I have always been pulled into the art of listening. Some brain types get pulled into dissecting technology or sketching nature, but I get into my flow when I listen intensely, it seems to be part of my wiring, haha! I love learning about people and how they think, and I love helping them in ways they can use to improve their life every day.

When I was in university, I was by far most interested in psychology, yet something kept me from pursuing that career. I somehow knew my profession wasn’t meant to be a psychotherapist, yet my passion was always in human nature and bringing comfort to loved ones (and sometimes strangers!) through insight and higher perspective.

I got started on understanding human energetics, which was the foundation of my spiritual learning during a particular dark time in my own life. It wasn’t until I grew courageous enough to step into what I knew and felt my purpose was and let go of false notions of what a business should look like according to the corporate world. That is when I started Energy Think.

What inspired the work that you're doing?

I was inspired five years ago to begin what will undoubtedly be a lifelong exploration into discovering universal truths for the purpose of healing (shown to me during my own healing process).

I had gone through a traumatic relationship experience and when it ended, I found myself back in my parent’s house in Toronto with no job at the time and no partner. My fall from the dazzling high life in New York City was rough and I knew I had to uncover some clues within me as to how I had managed to attract a relationship that was so toxic, and in this case, emotionally abusive.

I sought a Magi card reading (a form of fortune telling) that my mom had recommended from an individual she had used herself to receive insights. I had no idea what to expect, but in the hour I spent with her, I was introduced to the concept of energy as it relates to the human experience. Specifically, how energy is the underlying driver behind our desires and our behaviors.  My relationship, and importantly, my part in creating it, was broken down for me in terms of simple energetics, and I couldn’t believe how accurate it was and how easy it was to grasp.

From this moment on I knew I had to begin investigating the world of the hidden truths. There is so much wisdom out there in forms that are outdated or outside of conventional acceptance, but it is there and I witnessed it personally. This wisdom can be hard to find and at times, challenging to make sense of it all when there are so many modalities and perspectives. I love helping to distill this for people in ways they can apply it.

What is your biggest passion? Do you feel like you're living your passion and purpose?

My biggest passion, wow that is a tough one!

I would have to say, aside from my family, which is my deepest passion, that my biggest passion is my love of learning. I love to expand my mind and integrate different modes of thought into my own understandings. I love bringing new perspectives to my own challenges and offering the ones that work to those who seek my teaching.

I truly feel that, with knowledge and awareness, comes heightened consciousness, and the more we can learn and see the beauty in other perspectives, the more we grow as individuals, learn more about ourselves, and of course grow in spirit as well.

Yes, my biggest passion is my thirst for knowledge. It’s just too fun!

What is your joy blueprint? What lights you up, brings you joy, and makes you feel the most alive?

What a happy question to consider. Well, I would say that growth makes me feel joyous! I love to feel I am growing and expanding, so in the past that has come in the form of traveling, seeing new cultures and ways of life, as well as meeting new people.

During COVID, however, both these ways of expanding have been largely curtailed so I have been expanding in different ways - into different forms of education online, various texts and also into self-improvement. I have been expanding into my business and into my teachings.

When I am able to offer a new perspective on an issue a student is facing, and they are able to move past it as a block to their desires, this is a truly gratifying experience and makes my whole week. I want to expand my teachings so I can cause that effect for a broader audience.

How do you live intentionally? Are there tools/resources/practices that you rely on to help you stay mindful and grounded?

I love how you asked this question, because I think inherent to your question is at least part of its answer.

I live very intentionally, though I did not always. I am very aware of my energetic state, which I measure by my emotional experiences as well as my body feedbacks. I am also acutely aware of what my patterns look like when I dip out of a high energetic state to a low one, or if I have taken in negative energy in some form.

In order for me to keep my energetic system balanced, I have stacked my day to day living with a good number of inputs that are purely positive in nature and that bring me a lot of joy.

For example, I have a yoga/pilates routine five times a week that keeps my body moving. I am also a member of a number of networks, now all online, which serve me in ways I have deemed important to my well-being. I am a member of a challenging business community which keeps me focused, I am a member of a healing community which is dedicated to learning how to cultivate our personal spiritual connections. I am also a member of a gritty alchemical witch-like community which shares the wisdom of the Hermetica, as well as a study group on A Course In Miracles, as examples.

I feel it is very important to consciously curate your life to make sure the parts of you that need tending to are being looked after. It’s going to look different for each of us, but only we know our selves and what we need.More often than not it isn’t about not knowing what would bring us enjoyment, but not knowing how to get rid of the sticky stuff that holds us back from receiving it. That’s the secret!

What would your younger self think about what you're doing now?

Oh man, my younger self would be so proud of me!

There was a time where I thought I might have to work in the corporate world forever, just because I had never seen anything different and couldn’t fathom taking the financial risk of being a true entrepreneur.

My younger self would be so proud of me because I truly enjoy my work, and I know all too well what it feels like to hate (like, viscerally loathe) my job, and it’s not a healthy way to live. I know people who wish they could be doing something else, something bigger or more colorful, something to impact the world positively, but who are too scared to do it.

My younger self would give me a serious high five for overcoming this fear and all the other fears that threatened my liberation. Definitely, a big high five.

Do you have a go-to mantra or affirmation?

I have cycled through a number of very helpful affirmations, depending on what belief system I was trying to shed or trying to adopt.

At this point, I am constantly, every morning (or afternoon if I forget!), asking the greater power for guidance. I am cultivating a comfort level with asking for help and I am deepening my own spiritual connection by asking my specific spiritual source:

“Please guide my every thought, my every word and my every action.  Please heal my fear-based thinking and guide me always toward the Light.”

I find that by asking for this simple guidance, I have more confidence that I am making the right choices for myself and for my students. I can relax a little, while still going gangbusters!

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is for me to see my children grow up as beautiful human beings and to know that they are proud of me. This of course requires me to be very proud of myself, and to feel that I am fulfilling my purpose to a degree I am happy with.

Children are imprinted upon by their parents, and if I can consistently demonstrate personal contentment, the courage to follow my own passion and to succeed in the ways I aspire to, then that is what they will know as life and will hopefully be their legacy as well, in whatever form that takes.
