Hi, my name is Alisha Small, the CEO/Founder of Living Fulfilled Coaching. I am also a mother, wife, life coach, motivational speaker, mentor, blogger, and Brooklyn, NY native. At Living Fulfilled Coaching I partner with millennial women to build their confidence through prioritizing and incorporating self-care habits that promote a joy-filled lifestyle. I am a thought partner who uses a creative approach that maximizes potential in all areas of my client’s lives. I am a lover of all things outdoors and spend my free time cooking my favorite vegan meals, traveling, spending time with family, and shopping for home décor. In addition to entrepreneurship, I proudly volunteer at several nonprofit organizations such as Nami (National Alliance on Mental Health), Stella Girls, Girl Scouts, Women who Create, Cheer Up Wellness, and I’Raise Girls and Boys International Corporation.
How did you get started?
Well, my entrepreneurship journey started in 2016, after leaving my job with the NYC Department of Education. I knew I always wanted to help people; I just didn’t know how, but soon it became very clear to me how I wanted to serve my community. I started a private van transportation service for children enrolled in public, charter, and private school called Dreamer Transportation Services. I wanted to help parents with the same struggles I had working a 9-5 and trying to get their children to school on time. Fast forward to 2018 I was really struggling personally. I decided to invest in my own personal development, and that’s where I found my love for coach and women empowerment. In 2019 Living Fulfilled Coaching was born.
What Inspired the work you’re doing?
As I stated previously, I started to do a deep dive in my own personal development, and healing. During my own internal work my life’s purpose became crystal clear to me. My purpose is to partner with women and girls all over the world to build confidence, self-awareness, and resiliency through self-care.
What is your biggest passion? Do you feel like you're living your passion and purpose?
My biggest passion is seeing women heal from past trauma, and push pash limiting beliefs that prevent them become the best versions of themselves. I thrive off seeing women equip themselves with the tools to be successful at life and find their joy.
What is your joy blueprint? What lights you up, brings you joy, and makes you feel the most alive?
My joy blueprint is and will always be self-care. Throughout my journey I have learned that the quality of life that I live solely depends on how well I take care of myself. Who I am as a woman predetermines who I am in all other areas of my life? So, I am intentional and unapologetic about taking good care of myself.
How do you live intentionally? Are there tools/resources/practices that you rely on to help you stay mindful and grounded?
For me living intentionally requires strong self-awareness to truly be aware of your core values and beliefs. I live intentional by aligning my decisions, habits, and relationships with my values and beliefs.
What would your younger self think about what you're doing now?
I think my younger self would be in utter disbelief in who she has become, I would have never thought, or even believed it was possible to be who I am today. I think my younger self is looking at me smiling, very proud, and overjoyed.
Do you have a go-to mantra or affirmation?
Yes, every morning after prayer, and showing gratitude I tell myself “I lack nothing, I have everything I need to become the best version of me”.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to always be a servant leader. Once I found my purpose it stopped being about me. I get up every day to equip myself with the tools to be able to help women experience what so many people leave this earth never experiencing and that’s pure joy, genuine love, and being healthy in all areas of their lives.
