Cathy Jean Norman

Cathy Jean Norman was born in California and spent her early years in Caracas, Venezuela until the age of 13. She describes her childhood as being surrounded by silent applause from a very encouraging family. She graduated from Unity ministerial school in 1983 and went on to get 2 Master’s degrees. One master’s degree in Theology and the other in Spiritual Psychology.

In today’s episode Cath Jean shares her story moving away from any attachment to how she felt things should look, and instead trusting the synchronicity of life. For 37 years she was a Minister for the Unity Church and on New Years Day 2018, she decided to approach her goals and intentions differently. She decided to no longer micromanage the Universe, and everything changed. While she loved her congregation, she knew she was no longer enjoying it and something had to change. She embarked on a journey to be in love with life and trusting in the synchronicity of life. It’s Fall 2018 and Cathy and her husband took a trip through Europe. They found themselves on the Amalfi coast, and little did she know that a Lemon Ricotta cake would change her life. When she got back to the US she went to work creating a Keto Lemon Ricotta cake - sugar-free, grain-free and gluten free. That cake was the next step to her future. It was a big hit, and Cathy discovered her passion to bring sugar-free, gluten free products to families and individuals who want a healthier lifestyle. Out of her passion and along with her business partner Hope DeLong, they have created Keto baking mixes called “It’s All in the Mixx”. Currently they are in over 500 markets across the nation and they keep on growing beyond their wildest expectations. Cathy’s story is a beautiful reminder that one step leads to the next, and the Universe already knows how to get you to where you need to be.

This is what I’ve learned, especially during times of uncertainty, nothing is about trying because the physical mind does not have the ability to know how something is going to happen. Do you think you can work hard enough to achieve in a lifetime what the universe can give you in an instant? Only your higher mind knows. Let your higher mind bring you your next steps, your breadcrumbs. The Universe has ingenious ways and means of bringing you immense good. Just get out of the way and trust that something greater than your little mind has got your back!
