Happy #SeekTheJoy Tuesday!

On the podcast this week is Amber Romaniuk, an Emotional Eating, Digestive and Hormone Expert who helps professional women achieve optimal health through mindful eating, self-care and overcoming self-sabotage with food.

Her podcast “The No Sugarcoating Podcast” has over a half a million downloads and she has appeared on local TV 50 times in the last three years alone.

Amber overcame her own emotional eating after gaining and losing more than 1,000 pounds, spending over $50,000 on binge foods and spending 5 years balancing her hormones and digestion.

Now she helps others achieve Body Freedom™ so they have the confidence and health to create amazing lives.

In this week’s new episode we chat about Amber’s incredible journey overcoming food addiction and emotional eating, the assumptions and programming around food, body image, and weight we take on from a young age, the role of weight as self-protection, and the rock bottom moment that changed everything. Amber shares the powerful role of self-care, creating better boundaries, and nurturing yourself in creating body freedom, why self-sabotaging behaviors have a huge impact on our ability to show up and be present, and how we can begin to redefine the role of food in our lives. Plus, Amber shares her top tips for anyone who wants to make the switch to positive self-talk, the tools she relies on to support herself and her clients, and so much more!

Amber has turned her own difficult and personal experience to serve and transform the lives of others, and I’m so happy that we sat down and had this conversation! I can’t wait to hear what you think! Make sure to join the conversation on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter!

The assumptions and the programming that we take on from such a young age is so profound in the way that it impacts the relationship you have with your body, your thoughts, how you interact with the world, and with food.

Over time all of the changes I made helped me fill the void I was trying to fill with food. I learned how to catch the negative self-talk and be positive, compliment and love my body, and come to acceptance. I stopped binge eating, and I overcame my food addiction.

Amber has helped thousands of professional women regain their energy, calm digestion, lose weight and balance their hormones so that they feel happy, confident and capable of anything. Having overcome her own food addiction, Amber is committed to helping stop restrictive dieting, body shaming, and self-sabotage with food that many women struggle with.

As Amber shares in this week’s new episode, it all stems from your relationship with YOU – how you deal with emotions and where you are on your own priority list. Many women feel pressure to be perfect, busy and always saying yes to others. Yet, your body is screaming for your attention. Once you turn inward and give her what she truly needs, you can transform your life - and Amber is here to help!

I have such a great self-care routine now. I upkeep it not because I’m afraid to lose control with food, but because I see the deep value it brings me, and how grounded, at peace, and light and happy it makes me feel. I get to connect with my intuition and my soul, and it’s helped me love myself.
— Amber Romaniuk

If achieving Body Freedom™ is something that you’ve struggled with, you’re not alone. Amber struggled with her body image, tried restrictive diets to lose weight (only to gain it all back many times), and spent over $50,000 on binge foods. It took her over 5 years to end her food addiction and balance her hormones. Through that process, she created a unique Body Freedom System that she now uses to guide her through their own personal transformation.

Emotional eating is not something you need to beat yourself up about. It’s something to lovingly address. I’m so inspired by Amber’s journey and so grateful for everything that she shared in this week’s new episode. Our conversation had so many lightbulb moments for me, and I know it’s one I’m going to keep coming back to time and time again.
